A NEW ADVENTURE - PRIVATE AVIATION

Working in the industry of private aviation has been a new, yet very exciting and promising jouney so far. After the very first jet interior I designed (Gulfstream G650 –„AP”) received numerous positive feedback from within and outside of the industry - also it was shortlisted in 2022 for the International Yacht and Aviation Awards by Design Et Al – I decided to focus solely on business jet interiors. During the past 1,5 years I’ve had the luck and opportunity to get into the bloodflow of the industry, to join and participate in amazing projects and to meet incredibly knowledgeable, open, helpful and kind people. By observing and learning constantly my goal is to come up with my own definition of creating unique onboard experiences and to offer an approach which relies on having unique ideas, powerful vision and to develop designs which are beyond and above compared to what’s expected.
TELL US A LITTLE ABOUT YOUR BACKGROUND IN DESIGN (EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, ETC)

I graduated as an Industrial Design Engineer and studied Product Design during my masters - therefore my approach when design is based on the forceful combination of the these two point of views: the application of the methodology of a more pragmatical industrial design, hand in hand with an abstract and unlimited artistic approach.
This unique mindset made it possible to be able to execute various projects and fulfill different roles during the past decade by providing design services for projects with on a wide scale such as: exclusive jet interiors, unique residential and hospitality design projects, as well as bespoke furniture and product design.
HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR PERSONAL DESIGN STYLE?

My personal stlye is rather an attitude and a way of approach, than a well described visual language or style applied in my works. My ultimate goal is to indicate and develop a strong emotional connection between the design installation (wheter it is an object, an interior or an atmospehere in general) and the user itself - troughout the different sensations being manifested in the harmonious combination of different shapes, colors, textures, feelings, emotions and light.

Desiging exclusive, “one-and-only” creations are all about capturing the heart itself and making an long-lasting imprint in the mind - this approach is what I consider as the driving style of mine.
IF YOU COULD OFFER ONE PIECE OF ADVICE WHEN IT COMES TO DESIGN SCHEMES, WHAT WOULD IT BE?
Don’t stick to and rely on pre-defined design schemes – every design project is different, coming with a blank canvas. It is a gift for a designer to fully get engaged in the process of understanding the needs, finding opportunities, exploring possibilites and developing a vision which will eventually lead to the birth of something that has never exsisted before
