The Collaborative                            Process at Work

Below are examples of the iterative / transitional renders that took the team from early concepts to final output renders and the completed 3D model that was ultimately used in the finished animation (which can be seen on the                      page of this issue).  Additionally we have included comments from each team that explain the thorough design process, the collective philosophical approach and the objectives that each team member was trying to achieve.

Ultimately, it represents just how serious this collaboration (and others like them) are about moving the needle to the right....and bringing about real change!

“It is essential that the visuals and the VR experience depict the spirit of the Maverick Project: disruptive design, innovative technology, and, above all, comfort for the user cabin experience. With the Maverick Project, we have achieved higher altitudes of functionality and comfort. And I think that this is just the beginning of a new era in business aviation.”

“The immersive VR experience elevates what The Maverick vision encompasses to an entirely new level, allowing the audience to feel the cabin-of-the-future, not simply watch it.”

“When it comes to seats, at Sky Style, our priority is always the same: Ultra-Comfort.

Clients might come up with specific requests about geometrical shapes, hard edges, etc., but in aviation, we always advise else. Cause hard shapes can only be achieved by rigid foams, and rigid foams mean no comfort.

Therefore our seats are mainly designed with very soft lines and sections so that you can feel softness all around.”

“On Maverick, the headrests are specially designed to get you more privacy and lateral head support, which on long flights is a must.

And thanks to their shape, we were able to propose the seat integrated-private display (visible on Maverick’s video).”

Final Output Render - stand alone chair in White Leather
Once an exhaustive series of iterations are worked through, inputs massaged and re-massaged, it's time to feed all the final modeling  data to Max's capable team for material mapping, lighting, position etc.

That means it's time for the team's first look at how the chair would be seen in reality.

The image at left is the final "sneak peek" output render - a stand alone view of the chair showing all visual details, just the way a passenger might one day see them.

Outstanding work. Another step closer!
